The pie chart shows the percentage distribution of time:
How to Interpret
- Green (productive) should be the largest portion
- Yellow (delays) indicates improvement opportunities in the system
- Red (non-productive) indicates worker inefficiencies

- โข Normal: 60-80% productive
- โข Room for improvement: <60% productive

The bar chart lets you compare:
Productivity by Work Station
What to Look For?
- Work stations with low productivity: May indicate specific problems
- Large differences between work stations: Possible load imbalance
- Patterns: Is there something in common among the less productive stations?
Confidence Interval
Next to each percentage you will see the error margin:

The real value is between 63.3% and 72.7% with 95% confidence
A small interval (ยฑ2-3%) indicates high precision. A large interval (ยฑ10%+) indicates that you need more observations.
Delay Analysis
Delays are especially important because they represent system problems that can be solved:

- 1. Waiting for material 15.1%
- 2. Machine breakdown 3.2%
- 3. Waiting for instructions 1.7%
In this example, "Waiting for material" consumes 15% of the time. Improving the supply logistics could recover those productive hours.
Study Validity
