Define Work Stations

What Is a Work Station?
A work station represents a position or role that will be observed. It can be:
- A specific machine: CNC Lathe #3
- A work area: Packaging station
- A role/position: Forklift operator
- A specific person: John - Assembly A
Add a Station
- Go to the "Configuration" tab of your study
- Find the "Work Stations" section
- Click "+ Add Station"
- Fill in the form
- Click "Save"

Once created, the stations appear in a list with options to:
- Edit: Modify the name or description
- Delete: Remove the station (if it has no observations)

Important Considerations
💡 Tips
- • Use descriptive and short names (they'll appear in charts)
- • The observation plan will rotate among all stations
- • If a station has a heavier workload, you can duplicate it for more observations
- • You can add more stations later if you need to
⚠️ Remember
Each observation records which task is being performed by which station. That's why you need to define the stations first and then the tasks.
